DIY: Wedding Table Centerpieces

DIY: Wedding Table Centerpieces

Planning a wedding requires time and money and making the wedding table centerpieces at home is one way to save. Garden fresh flowers, candles and glass bowls come together to form an inexpensive, yet professional looking centerpiece, and because of the simplicity of making these, more time can be invested in other important areas of the wedding planning. Do-it-yourself wedding centerpieces can be done by almost anyone and will bring rave reviews from the guests.

Instructions

    1

Select a glass pedestal bowl for your centerpiece. Fill the bowl with distilled water, to within 1 inch of the rim. Using distilled water keeps bubbles from forming around the flowers and candles.

    2

Cut the stems of the Camellia flowers completely off, directly underneath the flower heads. Place the flowers in the bowl of water, being careful not to overcrowd them.

    3

Select about four to five tea light candles in a color to match the flowers, or use white. Put the candles in floating candle holders and place the candle holders on top of the water in the bowl in between the floating flowers.

    4

Tie a piece of satin ribbon around the pedestal forming into a bow in the front. Use ribbon in a color to match the flowers.
