Centerpieces are often the first thing guests see when they attend a party. Create simple centerpieces that will impress your guests and set the mood and style of the party. Centerpieces can often be created at home using easy-to-find materials. Be sure to reflect the theme, holiday or season of the party in your centerpiece.

Hurricane Centerpieces

Hurricanes come in a variety of styles from a simple clear glass cylinder to elaborate etched crystal.

Glass hurricanes are a great starting point for many easy and elegant centerpieces. Start with hurricanes in a shape and style to complement your party decor. Fill the bottom of the hurricane with glass marbles or stones. Add flowers and water for a traditional floral centerpiece or add a single pillar candle. For a dramatic effect, line several hurricane centerpieces down the middle of a long table. As an alternative, fill a clear hurricane with fruit --- try lemons for a summer luncheon or apples for a harvest-time dinner.
