How to Create a Google Earth Map From a Google Spreadsheet

Create a Google Earth Map from location data stored in a Google spreadsheet using Google Fusion Tables. Google Fusion Tables is a sophisticated data management application used to visualize large data sets. Using Google Fusion Tables, you can create a detailed Google Earth Map with no javascript coding. Instead, import your Google Spreadsheet into a Google Fusion table, then click a few buttons to generate a Google Earth Map.

Instructions

    1

Navigate to Google Fusion Tables at google.com/fusiontables and log in to your Google Account.

    2

Click the "New Table" drop-down list on the top-right of the screen, then select "Import Table."

    3

Click the "Google Spreadsheets" icon on the window's left column.

    4

Click on "Spreadsheets" in the Select a Spreadsheet window. Google displays all Google Spreadsheets in your account.

    5

Select the Google Spreadsheet containing location data and click the "Select" button. Google opens the New Fusion Table window.
