Centerpiece Ideas for a Round Table

Centerpiece Ideas for a Round Table

Centerpieces for round tables have almost as many possibilities as centerpieces for angular tables. The only type of centerpiece that round tables look terrible with is one consisting of small items positioned in a line down the middle of the table. Other than that, the centerpieces can consist of big, small, round or square creations.

Countryside Centerpiece

Clean up an old metal bucket and pick some fresh flowers to create a countryside centerpiece for a round table. A white cotton ribbon wraps around the mouth of the metal bucket and ties into a small bow to create a rustic container for the flowers. A large and spiky bouquet consisting of sunflowers, lavender, daisies and pussy willow branches add earthy colors and textures to the design.

Elegant Feather Centerpiece

Use assorted large feathers to create an elegant centerpiece that will last for years. A tall, round, frosted glass tower vase provides a simple base for the indulgent feather arrangement. Long, full, white ostrich feathers form a round silhouette at the mouth of the vase. The feathers arch outward and fall around the sides of the vase. A single, stiff, white ostrich feather sticks up in the middle of the arrangement and elegant peacock feathers surround it to create a bouquet with a white-colored-white design.

Funky Fish Centerpiece

Add some whimsy to your party dcor with a funky fish centerpiece for a round table. The main centerpiece consists of a large, clear, oval latex balloon half-full of water. Mini plastic fish figurines and coral craft sand fill the balloon another one-quarter full, leaving the remaining quarter filled with air.

The filled and tied balloon sits on the table with the knot at the bottom. As the sand settles and the fish float, a colorful ocean scene forms. The balloon can sit flat on the table, on a pile of blue ribbons or surrounded by additional fish figurines. Additional decorations for the inner balloon can include sharks, dolphins, whales or squid.

Modern Centerpiece

Mix fruit and flowers to create a modern centerpiece for a round table. A clear glass cube vase filled with green grapes, red grapes and a little water creates an unusual and stylish base for the design. A tall and thin bouquet consisting of three bird of paradise flowers, white orchids and light green orchids slides into the vase to add a tropical accent to the modern style.

Tiered Candle Centerpiece

Create a medium-sized, tiered, fancy twinkling centerpiece with a cupcake stand and votive candles. The glass cupcake stand consists of a large, medium and small rounded tier on a small pedestal. Small, round, silver votive candles cover the large bottom and small top tiers to create multiple twinkling flames. Small, round, white votive candles cover the medium middle tier to provide a subtle contrast. Small, square, clear glass decorative stones fill the areas between each candle for extra sparkle.
