Table Centerpieces Ideas for Theme Centerpieces

Table Centerpieces Ideas for Theme Centerpieces

One of the simplest ways to create a party decor theme is by designing a festive table centerpiece. Make your own centerpieces to create customized items. If you are decorating on a budget, combine fake flowers and inexpensive candles with vintage pieces and decor that you already own. Themed centerpieces are ideal for any type of celebration, from birthday bashes to elegant wedding receptions. Does this Spark an idea?

Beach-Inspired Centerpiece

Jazz up beach-themed reception and party tables with fresh nautical touches. Fill a tall clear glass vase with sand and tiny seashells or aqua-hued glass gems. Create eye-catching decor pieces by spray-painting handfuls of tall, curly willow, birch or faux decorative branches with a vibrant coral red hue. Allow the branches to dry and nestle them into the sand or gems. Surround the display with starfish-shaped candle holders filled with elegant white tea lights.

Garden-Themed Table Decor

Enhance a summer soiree party or picnic table with charming garden-themed decor. Create breezy centerpieces using pastel hues and delicate flowers. Set the stage for a charming centerpiece by choosing a vintage white metal bird cage. Decorate the cage wires with butterfly, dragonfly or bird-inspired clips or organza ribbon bows. Place lush summery flowers, such as pink peonies, sweetheart roses or lilacs in an antique green glass vase and set it inside the bird cage. Fill two vintage gold candle sticks with tall lavender or pink taper candles and set one on either side of the centerpiece.

Celestial Centerpiece

If you are hosting a celestial-themed party, create an other-worldly centerpiece using enchanting gold and blue decor. Fill a clear glass bowl with blue-tinted water and allow gold star-shaped floating candles to glide on top. Accent the candle decor with a midnight blue-hued glass vase filled with sprays of gold foil stars and a selection of faux white and yellow flowers, such a calla lilies and tulips. Enhance each place setting with small gold votive holders featuring star-shaped cut-outs; the candle light glow will shine through the clear glass shapes, casting star patterns across the tablecloth.
