How to Make Table Centerpieces

If you are having a dinner party or just want to add a bit of flair to your dinner table, then the right centerpiece can do the trick. However, before you run to the florist to purchase an expensive arrangement, why not check your home? Chances are that you have items at home to make a lovely centerpiece to suit any occasion. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    1

Select some summer fruits with bright colors to place in the bowl. Oranges, lemons and peaches are all excellent choices. Apples limes and lemons work well as the colors contrast each other.

    2

Pile the fruit into the bowl, trying your best to alternate the colors. Try to balance them out as evenly as possible.

    3

Take 4 to 5 small sunflowers and place them evenly about the fruit. Just stick the stems in between.

    4

Take your bowl and fill it with water.

    5

Take roses or any other open flower and cut them so that no more than 1 inch of the stem remains.

    6

Float the roses in the water.

    7

Take your floating candles and place them in the water . Be careful not to wet the wick as this will make it very difficult to light them.
