Christmas Table Centerpiece Ideas

Christmas Table Centerpiece Ideas

Set an attractive table for your Christmas festivities with the perfect centerpiece. Whether the centerpieces are plain or fancy, they are just what you need for every table in your home during the holidays. Impress your guests with your crafting skills by putting together a one-of-a-kind Christmas centerpiece. Does this Spark an idea?

Snowman Centerpiece

Purchase a decorative snowman, such as a plush or standing snowman, to use as your table centerpiece. You can decorate the snowman by adding your own touches, such as a hat or presents sitting around the base. If you want to be crafty, make your own centerpiece. Use white Styrofoam balls to make the snowman. Glue the balls together and decorate them using colored felt, googly eyes, twigs, buttons, ribbons, a hat, fabric and toothpicks. Arrange candles around the base of the snowman for added decoration.

Glass Vase

Use a large glass hurricane vase and fill it with large-size Christmas ornaments. If you have two small glass vases, put one on each side of the large vase and put an ornament in each one of those. You can also use small ornaments to fill the vases. If you have gold Christmas decor, use gold ornaments and if you have red, use red ornaments. Color coordinate your theme with the ornaments so that all of your decor matches. Another idea is to put an assortment of plastic or real fruits in the vase. Use greenery, such as artificial ivies, to add more color to the vase by spreading it around the base of the vase.

Christmas Light Balls

Make a bowl of Christmas light balls for your centerpiece. Use C-7 size Christmas light bulbs and Styrofoam balls. Put hot glue on the gold end of each Christmas light and glue it to the Styrofoam ball. Do not leave any spaces between the lights and try to glue them as close together as possible. This will make each ball look full of lights. After the balls dry, arrange them in a ceramic bowl and use them as a table centerpiece.

Poinsettia Centerpieces

Poinsettias are the most popular holiday flowers, according to the World of Christmas. These flowers come in a wide variety of sizes and colors. Place a pot of poinsettias on your table to use for a festive centerpiece. Red and white are the most common; however, marbled poinsettias are also available. Another poinsettia idea is to fill a glass bowl with water and pull off the flower heads. Float them in the water during the Christmas dinner.

Tiered Present Platter

Create a tiered platter full of wrapped gifts for a Christmas table centerpiece. Wrap small, empty boxes in Christmas wrapping paper and stack the gifts on a tiered platter. You can tie ribbon around the platter and put some presents around the base for added decoration. Use artificial holly berries on vines to decorate in between the presents. Place some fake poinsettia flowers around the presents for added color and decoration.
